An American dancer and actress, born in New York City, New York, USA. She married screenwriter and songwriter Alfred Hayes, with whom she had two children, and remained with him until his death. She attended Hollywood High School, danced at the Los Angeles Opera House, and appeared in numerous television musicals and feature films, as well as nightclub performances. Her film credits include It's Always Fair Weather (1955), An American in Paris (1951), Annie Get Your Gun (1950), and Glory Alley (1952). She died in Los Angeles, California, USA, on December 2, 2016, at the age of 91.
