An Iranian director and writer, born in Tehran and based in Paris since 1984. She has created numerous films, including documentaries such as Tehran Without Permission (2009), dramatic feature films such as Red Rose (2014), and animated films such as The Siren (2022), which depicted the outbreak of the Iran-Iraq war in 1980.
