Nicole Kidman Back on Broadway

Australian star Nicole Kidman is returning to Broadway following a 12 year absence. She is set to participate in a play titled “Sweet Bird of Youth” that was written by Tennessee Williams. The “New York Times” newspaper has stated that Kidman will assume a leading role, that of Alexandra Del Lago – an aging star that is addicted to alcohol and sex.The play is produced by American producer Scott Rodin and will be directed by David Cromer. The leading male actor’s name has not been announced yet. The last time Nicole Kidman appeared on Broadway was in 1998 when she appeared in a play titled “The Blue Room”.
