Scarlett Johannson and Spouse Ryan Reynolds Get Seperated

American movie star Scarlett Johannson has seperated from her spouse, Canadian film star Ryan Reynolds with both parties believing that this step is the most suitable course of action.Website “People.com” has published a joint statement by the couple in which they state: “After long consideration and concern on our part we have decided to end our marriage. Our relationship began with mutual love and so we end it with love and goodwill. Although we don’t expect our privacy to be respected that is to be expected considering the situation.”The same website has also published a statement by a source close to the couple which seems to indicate that Johannson initiated the break-up. The same source also adds that she is looking for a new flat in New York and that she is presently in Jamaica with a few friends. Johannson (26) and Reynolds (34) got married in September 2008 in a simple ceremony that was held in Vancouver – birth place of Canadian star Reynolds.
