Hanan Metaw’e Commences Work on “Haflat Montassaf al Leil” (“Midnight Party”)

Actress Hanan Metaw’e, along with her peers, has celebrated the start of film work on the title “Haflat Montassaf al Leil”. Filming is taking place at the Ahmas studio. The title represents her first return to cinema following her previous title “Heliopolis” and features the talents of many other performers. Moreover, the title is produced by the A’rabiyah Cinema Company. The celebration was attended by actress and producer Es’aad Youniss who also heads the production company. Es’aad ceremonially cut the cake at the celebration.This latest television title relates a series of events which take place during the course of a party held at night. The party is witness to a series of crimes that add an element of thrill and horror to the occasion. Hanan portrays the character of “Dalia” who is relatively morally upstanding when compared to the other characters portrayed. Hanan finds the level of corruption and mischief prevalent in the party’s atmosphere difficult to bear and thus suffers a sort of break down.“Haflat Montassaf el Leil” features the talents of Dorra, Hanan Metaw’e, Rania Youssif, Muna Hilal, Ramy Wahid, Edward, A’mr Hassan Youssif and newcomer Aimee Al Masry. The screenplay is credited to Mohamed A’bd Al Khaleq whilst the work is directed by Mahmoud Kamel.
