Performer A’del Imam has added another condition with regards to the commercial that he has taken part in recently for a certain telecommunications company. In particular Imam has mandated that the commercial not be broadcast throughout the course of the next month of Ramadan. The month will see the airing of Imam’s latest television series “Firqat Naggy A’t Allah” (“The Band of Naggy A’t Allah”). Imam has added this condition because he is concerned that some audiences may be confused to see him portraying himself in the ad while portraying a different character in the series.A’del Imam’s compensation for the said ad campaign has reached 4 million dollars thus making him the most expensive celebrity with regards to advertisement. He is followed by A’mr Diab who earned 3 million dollars for his part in an ad campaign for a mineral water company. The screenplay for “Firqat Naggy A’t Allah” is credited to Youssif Mu’atty. Ramy Imam is expected to direct the work, the filming for which is anticipated to begin around the middle of January so that the series could air next Ramadan.
