Angham Accepts Her First TV Role

Musician Angham has given her preliminary acceptance for her first television role. The series which she is set to perform in will be produced by Magdy al-Hawwary and will see Angham act alongside Ghada A’del. The work will relate the story of two women who find themselves undergoing a series of consecutive life problems.Earlier in 1999 Angham had taken part in Tawfiq Hakim’s sensational production “Rassasa fee al-Qaleb” (“A Bullet through the Heart”). The production was a remake of Mohamed A’bd Al Wahab’s 1940s title by the same name. Hakim’s 1999 remake however included a stage performance by musician A’ly al-Hajjar. The work was a massive hit and ran for a period of two years.
