“The Green Hornet” Tops the American Box Office

American adventure title “The Green Hornet” has topped the American box office this week. The Michel Gondry directed title which features the talents of Seth Rogen and Cameron Diaz earned $ 29.5 million in its opening day. The film relates the story of a man who inherits a major corporation following the death of his father. He thereafter recruits his father’s aide to put together a masked crime fighting crew.Worthy of note is that 42% of critics have approved of the film which has attracted audiences from all walks of life. The producing company expects the film to be a success seeing as it has fared well in its opening week. Reports in America indicate that 40% of the film’s audiences are women.
