Sherihan Calls on Mubarak to Leave Office

Renowned actress Sherihan has stated that she wishes her blood was not cancerous so that she could donate blood for those injured at Tahrir Square at the hands of officials of the Ministry of the Interior and brutes supporting the ruling party. The actress has also added that she has prayed to God that he takes care of Egypt’s outstanding youths who have changed the face of Egypt forever.Sherihan then directed her address to president Mubarak and asked him to heed the call of his people and to resign immediately from the leadership in order to allow members of the public to practice their right to choose their ruler. Sherihan has furthermore called for a transition period in which U’mar Suleiman would preside over the presidency until such time that election could be held where members of the public could democratically elect a president without having their ballots mishandled.Worthy of note is that the actress, who has withdrawn from the stage for several years due to her suffering from cancer, has appeared recently amidst the youth protesting at Tahrir square in the company of her daughter. The actress made her appearance in a show of solidarity for the people’s legitimate requests.
