Sabreen: Protesters Centered at Tahrir Square are Ignorant of Mubarak’s History

Performer Sabreen has expressed her profound sadness with regards to current attempts to degrade Egyptian president Hosny Mubarak. She has added that demands for the immediate resignation of president Hosny Mubarak amount to degradation. The actress has also further added that these attempts have led her to shed tears for the president who has kept Egypt safe from terrorism and war for a period of thirty years.Sabreen further added in a statement published on the MBC website that the protesters who are centered at Tahrir square are ignorant of the history of this man who has safeguarded Egypt’s people from war and terrorism and allowed them to live in peace for a period of thirty years. Sabreen also added that she cried profusely upon hearing the latest address of the president, an address which also saw many other Egyptians shed tears. In that address Mubarak asserted that he has fought for Egypt and that he is concerned as to the fate of the land and its people concluding that he has spent his life in the service of Egypt.
