Carol Samaha Returns and Sings for Egypt

While on a visit to Cairo to shoot scenes for the television series “al-Shahroura”, Carol Samaha witnessed first-hand the crisis gripping Egypt. Following that experience Samaha has decided to release a musical clip that is to be produced by Cedars Art in what will be that company’s first trial at producing a musical video.This latest release represents a departure from Samaha’s usual habit of avoiding personal projects following her presentation of “Bisabah al-Alf al Thalith” which saw her collaborate with Mansour al-Rahbany.Carol is expected to return to Egypt over the next few days in order to complete work on the aforementioned music video. That work will see her collaborate with lyricist Ayman Bahgat Qammar and composer Mohamed Yahya. On her return, Carol is also expected to continue film work on “al-Shahroura”.
