Maged al-Kadwany: The Principles Upheld at Tahrir should Be Taught at Every Egyptian Household

Actor Maged al-Kadwany believes that the standards learned at Tahrir should be taught across households in Egypt. In a statement posted on his facebook page, the actor has indicated that these values and principles should be ingrained in all of the children who will inherit the future following the dramatic coup witnessed at Tahrir.To this effect, al-Kadwany wrote: “Tahrir Square should be alive in every homestead with all of what it represents in terms of meanings and values. Teach your children what it means to love one’s country. Plurality, civilization, refraining from falsehoods, honor and martyrdom. Please ensure that you cultivate these beliefs in your children because they are the ones who will steer the nation in the future.”
