Mona Zakky: the Revolution will end falsehoods in cinema

Mona Zakky considers the revolution which took place beginning on the 25th of January as one of the most significant events of the nation’s history. She also believes that the revolution will result in a better life for the majority of society who were denied their rights in the past.Moreover, Zakky has also indicated that she believes the cinema industry will also be influenced by these broad changes and that in particular the material presented will change and portrayals will be more true to life and free from fabrication.Mona had taken part in demonstrations held at Tahrir in the company of her husband Ahmed Helmy.
