Shereef Mounir presents an apology to the youths of the Revolution

Actor Shereef Mounir has presented an apology to the youths behind the revolution of the 25th of January for not partaking actively alongside them and for the stance that he had adopted at the outset of the revolution as he believes that he was not well informed as to the truth. Mounir has added that he now feels real pride for belonging to the country which has produced informed youths of this caliber.Mounir has also disclosed that he took part in demonstrations supporting Mubarak after he had sympathized with him following the address in which he announced that he would not be nominating himself for the presidency in the future. Mounir states that he was later informed of the truth by performers participating in the revolution, however he was anxious about going down to Tahrir seeing as some of the performers who went down there were attacked.
