Sammiha Ayyoub joins the cast of the television series “Asmaa Bint Abou Bakr”

Renowned actress Samiha Ayyoub has joined the cast of the television series “Asmaa Bint Abou Bakr” following a meeting which director Hany Ismail had called for after events in Egypt returned to normal. At the meeting Sammiha was nominated for the role of Asmaa’s mother and she accepted.Sabreen will present the role of Asmaa while Sammiha Ayyoub will assume the role of Asmaa’s mother. Furthermore Galal al-Sharqawwy will act as Abou Gahl while Mohamed Riyad will present the role of Asmaa’s older brother. Marwa ‘Abd Al Mon’em will portray Umm Kalthoum.Ismail has confirmed that the selection of other cast members is ongoing as is the work on the sets in preparation for the start of filming in the following month.
