Director Khaled Youssif has begun holding workshops with screenwriter Nasser ‘Abd Al Rahman in order to agree on the details for their new film production “al-Share’ Lana”. The works title was changed after the revolution as it was previously named “al-Share’ Le Meen” (“How Owns the Street?”). However the recent events which Egypt has witnessed have “Made clear the answer to the proposed question… the streets are ours” according to a remark by screenwriter Naser ‘Abd Al Rahman.Nasser added that the film title discusses the climate of corruption which was prevalent prior to the revolt. He also explained that he had completed the screenplay a while before Khaled could begin filming following the conclusion of work on his latest title “Kaff al-Qammar” (“Palm of the Moon”). However, the historic events which took place in Egypt beginning on the 25th of January have necessitated some revisions. One such alteration has meant that the film will now feature the revolution in its ending.
