“’Awasif al-Hobb” (“Storms of Love”) bring down “Wadi el-Molouk” (“Valley of the Kings”)

The fate of television series “Wadi el-Molouk” (“Valley of the Kings”) is unknown. High production costs and anxieties on the part of the producer with regards to being unable to market the series during the stressing times which Egypt is undergoing, added to the alternative of delaying the show for a year have led director Hosny Saleh to decide to enter the Ramadan race with “’Awasif al-Hobb”. The new production is expected to cost much less to produce and should be easily marketed. “’Awasif al-Hobb” stars Summaya al-Khashab, Sabreen, Magdy Kamel and a host of new talents including Donya al-Nashar, Hassan ‘Eed, Ibrahim al-Salman, Ahmed al-Shorbagy, Nashwa al-Biary and Yasmin Samer. The work is a romantic drama with optimistic overtones and the screenplay for the series was authored by ‘Etrees. The title is producer by Ahmed al-Gabiry and is directed by Shereef el-Meligy in collaboration with Hosny Saleh.
