Medhat Saleh sings for the revolution “Waqef fee al-Lagna al-Sha’beeyah” (“Standing at the People’s Committee”)

Musician Medhat Saleh has released a new song titled “Waqef fee al-Lagna al-Sha’beeyah” (“Standing at the People’s Committee”). Medhat has dedicated the song to the youth of the revolution and to the people of the valiant city of Suez. The lyrics to the song were written by lyricist Khaled Tajj al-Deen whose wife Wafaa al-‘Eishy is from the city of Suez. The song was composed by Khaled ‘Ezz.It should be noted that Medhat Saleh’s previous album was titled “Baktib Ismak” (“I Write Your Name”) and was released in 2009. He was also involved in the filming of a song titled “Tewhashny wa Ana wa eyak”. The lyrics to that song were written by Nabil Khalaf. The musical piece was composed by Walid Sa’ad with Lebanese director Selim Turk.
