On Video: Naseer Shamma gives a salute to the revolution

Renowned Iraqi musician Naseer Shamma has presented his latest song “al-Sha’b Yareed” (“The People Want”) at his recent concert at Saqqyat el-Sawwy (el-Sawwy Cultural Wheel). He has dedicated the song to the revolutions which took place in Tunis and Egypt and saw the incumbent regimes in both countries being ousted.Shamma also dedicated the song to the peoples of Libya, Bahrain, Yemen and to all the Arab people that are seeking to liberate themselves. He hope that they all meet the same results which Egypt and Tunisia have realized.The lyrics to the song were authored by Wael al-Samary, it was composed by Naseer Shamma and is distributed by ‘Umar Hamdy.
