Madonna’s grandmother deceased

The paternal grandmother of American pop star Madonna has passed away at the age of 99. “US Magazine” has reported that Elsie Mae Fortin died last Thursday in the American state of Michigan. The British journal “Mirror” has conveyed that Madonna is deeply saddened at the loss of her grandmother who raised her following her mother’s death due to breast cancer. Madonna was only five years old when her mother died.A spokeswoman representing Madonna has announced that the pop star will not make any public statements concerning her grandmother and that she would like to reserve her privacy.
