Raghda joins Eyyad Nassar and Latifah on “Ma’a Subq al-Ashhar” (“Previously Publicized”)

Actress Raghda is undergoing preparations to begin filming a new television production titled “Ma’a Subq al-Ashhar”. The title would represent the performer’s first return to television drama following an absence which had lasted more than two years. Her previous work in this genre was “Sadaq Wa’dah” (“He Was True to His Promise”), a series which aired in 2009.In a statement released by the television series’ press officer, director Ghada Selim expressed her happiness with regards to the fact that actress Raghda had agreed to star in the production. The statement also confirmed that the crew of the television title have decided to begin filming soon despite the difficult circumstances currently experienced by the Egyptian television drama industry. The crew are ready to press on with the work because they believe that the industry is important and must continue – moreover they are also keen to maintain Egypt’s lead in the industry.“Ma’a Subq al-Ashhar” features the talents of Eyyad Nassar, Latifa – in her first television drama role, Raghda, Mahmoud Qabeel, ‘Ezzat Abou ‘Ouf, Maged el-Masry and Amy Samir Ghanem. The work is directed by Ghada Selim and the screenplay is credited to Walid Youssif.
