Hussein Fahmy prepares for “Tilk al-Layla” (“That Night”)

Actor Hussein Fahmy, director ‘Adel al-‘Asar and the crew of his new television series “Tilk al-Layla” have been holding intensive workshops in order to place the final touches on the series before filming begins. The Sawt al-Qahira company, which produces the work, has decided to air the series in Ramadan 2011.A spokesman for Sawt al-Qahira has stated “The company has decided to add the television series “Tilk al-Layla” to the package of dramas scheduled to air this coming Ramadan. A 12 million pound budget has been allocated to the series which is could be considered as belonging to the social-police genre.”“Tilk al-Layla” utilizes a screenplay which was authored by Fathy Mustafa, it features the talents of Hala Fakher, Hala Sidqy, Reham ‘Abd Al Ghafour and Salah al-Sa’dany.
