Rania Fareed Shawqy joins the cast of “Tilk al-Layla” (“That Night”)

Actress Rania Fareed Shawqy has contracted with the Sawt al-Qahira company for the leading role in the television series “Tilk al-Layla” (“That Night”). The production utilizes a script which was authored by Fathy Mostafa, moreover it is directed by ‘Aadel al-A’sar and will see Rania perform alongside actor Hussein Fahmy.Rania has commenced preparations for the role which she will portray in the series. Thus she will be portraying a journalist who is in a search for her mother’s murderer. The series does not emphasize her job as a reporter but rather places more importance on her journey in search of the murderer during the course of which she is faced with several tough paradoxes.The series assumes a social/crime setting and carries many surprises by focusing on parts of society which produce constructed personalities resulting in intentional and unintentional crime. This in turn results in strange and shocking events which are sometimes uncovered following momentary pauses.
