Rami Wahid portrays a drug dealer in “Masaalat Karrama” (“A Matter of Dignity”)

Actor Rami Wahid is continuing to shoot his role in the television series “’Aailat Karrama” (“Family of Honor”), the title of which was recently changed to “Masaalat Karrama” (“A Question of Honor”) so that it better suits events taking place in Egypt. Ramy Wahid has stated that he portrays the role of a drug dealer in a comedy/romantic light who nonetheless has a good man inside of him. This is embodied in his son who changes his life from that of a drug dealer to that of someone else who seeks an honest livelihood – therein comes the question of honor which is sought by all of the lead characters in the series. The show features performances by Hassan Youssif, Reem al-Baroudy and Donia ‘Abd Al ‘Azeez. The screenplay for the series was authored by Ahmed Heikal, moreover it is directed by Raed Labib and is produced by Sawt al-Qahira.It should be noted that the last work which featured Rami Wahid was the film “al-Feel fee al-Mandeel” (“Elephant in a Napkin”). Those who performed in that production, headed by Tal’aat Zakkariyah, do not know yet when that work will premier.
