Director Ismaael Abdul Haafez chose Imaan al-Bahr Darweesh to play the role of his grandfather, the great musician”Sayyed Darweesh” in the upcoming TV series “Ahl al-Hawa” which highlights the biography of the great colloquial poet Beiram al-Tounsy.The series is written by Mahfouz Abdul Rahmaan, starring Tawfeek Abdul Hameed “Beiram al-Tounsi”, Ahmad Khaleel “Saad Zaghloul” and Nermeen al-Feky “Galeela, lover and muse of Sayyed Darweesh”.Worth mention, a feature film about “Sayyed Darweesh” with the same name starring “Karam Motaawe’”and Hend Rostom as Galeela was produced half a century ago.
