“Kaff al-kamar” postponed because Khaaled Youssef’s wife is sick

The film “Kaff al-kamar i.e. The palm of the moon” will not be screened this evening at the Egyptian Motion Picture Association Festival for two reasons: The stated one is that Khaaled did not finish editing the film yet as he wants to add some scenes of the Egyptian Revolution. The hidden one is because his wife is sick and they had to travel to Paris for treatment. Some websites stated that the film was postponed because of a dispute between Ghaada Abdul Raazek and Khaaled during the days of Revolution and that Ghaada refused to attend the film première.Khaaled’s appearance in reception of Haala Sarhaan at the Cairo Airport confirmed that he is in Egypt to finalize editing the film.
