Actor Gihaan Faadel starts shooting her TV role “Al-shawaare’ al-khalfeyya i.e. Backstreets” in the next few days. Gamaal Abdul Hameed’s “Al-shawaare’ al-khalfeyya” written by Abdul Rahmaan al-Sharkaawy, script-written by Medhat al-‘Adl is starring Laila ‘Elwy, Jamaal Soulaymaan, Saamy al-‘Adl, Mahmoud al-Gendy, ‘Azza Bahaa, Houreyya Farghaly and Azza Bahaa.Gihaan said that she almost finished filming the TV series “Nour Maryam”, directed by Ebraheem al-Shawwaady and starring Nicole Saba and Youssef al-Shereef in which she plays the role of the journalist Nawaal, a friend of Maryam (Nicole Saba), who fights corruption and opens several thorny issues. Yet, she gets involved in trouble by senior State Officials.Faadel added that she is waiting to know the audience reaction to her new film “Al-Fagoumy”, which underlines the political life through the biography of the great poet Ahmad Fouaad Negm.Gihaan plays the role of a divorced woman “Om-Amaal” who owns the building in which Ahmad Fouaad Negm lives. They fall in love yet they do not get married.
