Khaaled Youssef and Kaamel Abu-‘Aly disagree about “The palm of the moon” finale

Filmmaker Khaaled Youssef and producer Kaamel Abu-‘Aly, owner of Al-Batros Company for Cinema Production, did not agree on the finale of their film “Kaff al-kamar i.e. The palm of the moon”. Khaaled filmed a tragic finale containing several political projections, which was not welcomed by Kaamel telling that people are already sad these days and any political symbols will lead to dramatic results. Abu-‘Aly added that such finales will unfortunately increase the flare in Egypt yet Khaaled insisted on his idea, which caused a dispute between them. “Kaff al-kamar” is starring Khaaled Saaleh, Ghada Abdul Raazek and Wafaa ‘Aamer.
