Joumana Mouraad: I will play the belly dancer the decent way

Upon her acceptance to play a belly dancer cinema role, Joumana Mouraad said that she will not accept to show in hot scenes. She has her own principles that she will never depart by playing glamour roles addressing instincts.Joumaana explained, in an interview with “Kalaam al-Naas” magazine, that she will play the belly dancer in a different way. She accepted because it is a challenging role, yet she required since the beginning not to wear indecent outfits.Worth mention, it was scheduled for Soumayya al-Khash-shaab to play the role in the film “Shaare’ al-Haram i.e. Al-Haram street”. Yet, some problems between Soumayya and the producer Ahmad al-Sobky made Joumaana take the role of a dancer in Folkloric troupe forced by circumstances to work at al-Haram street cabarets.
