“One rumor is not enough” postponed as Omar Sharif undergoes a surgery

Omar Sharif travelled to Paris, the day before yesterday, to undergo a right hip-joint surgery. It is the second time for Sharif to go to Paris for treatment, having already spent nearly the first three months of the year there, in order to remain under observation after feeling severe pain in the thigh.Omar missed the Egyptian group at the Festival de Cannes due to his health condition, which also led to postpone the production of his upcoming film “Eshaa’et waaheda la takfy i.e. One rumor is not enough”. The film is a remaking of the blockbuster “Eshaa’et hobb i.e. Rumor of love” in which Omar excelled along with superstar Souaad Hosny and the great Youssef Wahby in 1960.Noteworthy, “Al-mossaafer i.e. The traveler”, starring Omar Sharif, is not released yet in theatres, the film that he regrets taking part in, after many problems with the director Ahmad Maaher.
