Menna Shalaby joins “With pain” after changing the events following the Revolution

Actor Menna Shalaby joined the film “Bel-alam i.e. With pain”, she plays a countryside girl whose life changes completely after participating in the Revolution in Tahreer square.According to al-Fagr newspaper, the events of the film have changed drastically to become linked to the political and social developments that have occurred during the previous months, and a great number of scenes will be filmed in Tahreer square.The project started in December 2010, when Arab Company for Cinema signed actors Ahmad ‘Ezz and ‘Amr Abdul Galeel to participate join the film and starting shooting in January to be in theatres by summer. Yet, the revolution occurred and everything changes with cinema industry in general which lead to a change in film events and its production plan. Later on, Khaaled al-Nabawy, Dorra, Ahmad Rezk and Menna Shalaby joined the cast and the script changed to be highly connected to the Revolution.
