Sherine Abdul Wahhaab wins the “Murex d’Or”

Singer Sherine Abdul Wahhaab will travel to Lebanon on June 20, 2011 to receive the Murex d’Or; she was chosen “Star of Arab Music”.Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram will receive two awards at the festival; “Star of Lebanese Music” and “Best Music Video” for “Shaykh al-shabaab i.e. Chief of youth”. Carole Samaaha was awarded also “Best Music Video” for “Khalleek bee haalak i.e. Stay away”, whereas singer Raagheb ‘Alaama will receive the “Star of Lebanese Music” award.
