Actress Hanaan Tork : I meant no offense to the AL Azhar’s outfit

Actress Hanaan Tork was surprised with the accusations that said that she was offending Al Azhar ( The biggest religious institute in the Islamic world) when she impersonated a matrimonial lady in her new mini series “Noona the matrimonial lady” by wearing the outfit worn at Al Azhar. She said that this is by no means her intention at all. This was all part of the role she had to play in the series, and in no way should be taken as mockery or insult. It all started when the previews of the series played on television. It is then when she received calls from viewers and other religious celebrities expressing distress of the scene, to the point that the series was sued by famous lawyer “Nabih El Wahsh” It is then that Hanaan Tork and both the director and producer decided to cut out any scenes that might be considered the slightest bit offending to AL Azhar.
