Why is the legendary singer “Fairooz” infuriated with the series “Al Shahroora”

The Lebanese legendary singer Fairooz sued the producers of the series “Al Shahroora” that portrays the biography of legendary Lebanese actress Sabah. Her concern was mainly revolving around portraying her personal life her husband’s Musician Assi El Helani in the series. Although producers has changed her name from Fairooz to Nairooz , and changed her husband’s name from Assi to Sassi, yet she is still suing to stop the series from playing. So we ask what are the real reasons behind such persistence ? The Lebanese newspaper “The News” published unconfirmed reports saying that the reason why Fairooz may have been adamant to stop the series from showing is related to the scene where her current husband “Assi” asks “Sabah” to marry him and she refuses. This is considered an insult and it might not be factually correct. As for the other scene is when Fairooz is singing behind Sabah and Sabah predicts to her that she will have an excellent singing career. The series should start showing tomorrow and stars singer “Carol Samaha” and many more actors and actresses from around the Arab world.
