Singer Mohamed Monir stated that his first album that will be released after the 25th January revolution will be of a different type than the albums we are used to. Rather than an album filled with songs that incite and reject injustice and oppression , his album will be a celebration of freedom and social justice, now that the spring of the Arabic revolutions has arrived and we enter a new era that defined history. Monir had recently come back from his home in the Southern city of Egypt “Aswan” where he spent the first couple of days of Ramadan with his family, now he will begin to work on his album that will be released during Eid El Fetr which does not yet have a name.
