Actor Ahmed Mekky : making something about the revolution now is like begging

Ahmed Mekky stated that although he achieved a big success with his series “El Kebeer” “The Big One” he does not intend to make a part 3. He said that he wants something new , a new story with a new character. He also explained that the reason his series is only 15 episodes was because there was no time to make it longer as he was trying to play the series in Ramadan. He didn’t want to produce 30 episodes in a rush, he preferred to make 15 in details and give them enough time so the outcome will be prefect. Mekky was also busy working on his new Rap album that will be released next January. He also added that any work that involves the revolution is like begging , if someone has something to say about the ex regime then they should have said it earlier. He said that the real reflection of the revolution should be in a perfect piece of work that comes out in the cinema.
