Producer of series “Al Hassan and Al Hussein” : The text of the series was revised by more than 23 Islamic reference.

Producer of mini series “AL Hassan and Al Hussein” Mohamed el Anzi expressed dismay at the repeated attacks on his series of which 7 episodes were played only. In an interview with the Saudi news paper “Al Hayaa” he said that he did not take the decision to go ahead with the series except after showing the text and script to more than 23 Islamic sunni and shiat references on top of them Sheikh Youssef Al Kardawi Director of the International Union of the Muslim Scientists. Al Anzi was surprised that viewers don’t mind an Iranian production that portrays some prophets such as Joseph, yet objected to his series. He also added that his series is a factual documentary that relates facts as they are in an attempt to achieve convergence and harmony between different Islamic sectors.
