Khaled Saeed is Citizen "X"

In an interview with the Egyptian magazine "Ain" or "Eye", Zahra Saeed the sister of the martyr Khaled Saeed confirmed that the series "Citizen X" is about her brother Khaled Saeed.She said that the character of Khaled is personalized by actor Youssef Al Sherif. In the series he is called Ahmed Kassem.She also added that their family's real title is "Kassem" and that her older brother is called Ahmed. She said that all the director did was change the order of siblings in the series.The series discusses the story of Khaled Saeed and how he was beaten to death by 2 police officers for suspecting him of carrying drugs. It doesn't get into much detail about Khaled's life but portrays the general traits of his personality like his relationship with his family and friends and his aims and goals in life."Citizen X" is a story by Mohamed Nayer and directed by Mohamed Bekeer and Othman Abu Laban.It is starring Iyad Naser, Youssef Al Sherif,Mahmoud Abdel Ghani, Amr Youssef,Nabil Eissa, Arwa Gouda and Sherry Adel.
