Reem El Baroody regretting her participation in the soap opera “We are the Students”

Actress Reem El Baroody expressed her regret in participating in the series “We are the Students” that is now playing during the month of Ramadan. In the series she plays the role of a prostitute. Reem believes that she has ruined her image and her career by accepting such role in the series. From day one there had been production problems, many actresses declined the role she is now playing. In addition, the problem that happened between actor Ahmed Azmy and herself that ended with his apology. She expressed her concern about playing the role of the prostitute since the series will air during the Holy month of Ramadan. Reem chose to present the character in a decent way , to add to her acting career, and she considered it a brand new role that she has never played before. Unfortunately, she added that this whole experience was one she should not have gone for. She ended up working with a poor director who was unable to bring out the full potential of the cast and everyone ended up doing their own thing. The producer took out 38 scenes from her script making it look incomplete and deficient. Reem learned that her tools of assessment next time should be, first a good producer , second and excellent director. Reem is currently involved in 3 series playing during the month of Ramadan : “We are the Students”, “Abdel Kerman” and “Karama ‘s Family”
