Zeina reveals her absence from any Ramadan programs and describes the Ramadan programs as silly and frivolous.

Actress Zeina explains the reasons behind her disappearance lately especially in Ramadan were due to her fear of the political situation in Egypt. She is apprehensive and not quite sure what the future holds, and would rather wait and watch than indulge in something hastily. In an interview with “Akhbar AL Nogoom” or “Stars News” magazine, Zeina explained that she had the intention to work on a series that was meant to play in Ramadan but upon reading the script, she felt that the idea was repetitive and old, hence , changing her mind. Zeina added that most of the programs that aired during Ramadan are silly and frivolous and rely very much on scandalous news. She asks herself why an actress would sit in front of a TV host forced to accept all sorts of insults and trivial comments. Finally, she believes that the best programs in her opinion during Ramadan were that of Ahmed Mekky “AL Kebeer Awi” , the series “Al Rayan” and the series “Dawaran Shobra” for Haytham Ahmed Zaki.
