Rasheed Taha participates in a big Tunisian celebration called “The Jasmin Revolution”

Algerian singer Rasheed Taha participated in a big celebration in the archeological theatre in Carthage, yesterday Friday September 9th, in celebration of the Tunisian revolution that overthrew the president Zain El Abedeen Bin Ali on the 14th of January. The evening was labeled “The Anthem of Freedom” , and it was arranged by the Tunisian Ministry of culture with the help of the French Cultural Center as well. The event included many Arab artists such as the Palestinian “3 Gibrans”, and Tunisian singers such as Monir Al Taroody and Amal AL Mathloothy.Rasheeb had expressed his happiness with the Tunisian revolution and its freedom. He added that it was the spark for other similar revolutions in other Arab countries. The Carthage Theatre took 8000 people (its total capacity).
