King Tut for productions decided to discontinue shooting the series “Mohamed Ali” due to its high cost especially after the revolution that was followed by an economic crisis. The company said that the backdrops and the setting cost 35 million pounds. They are trying to minimize their loss by renting the backdrop and setting to anyone interested as well as sell the series to another production company to continue the work. King Tut (owned by Essam Shabaan and Co) had initially bought the series from Good News Productions. The series is written by Lamis Gaber and was supposed to star Yehia El Fakharani.
