Hamdy Kandil stands up for Osama El Shiekh and attacks Anas El Fekki

Previous director of Radio and Television Union Osama El Shiekh has been sentenced to 5 years in a maximum security prison for abuse of public wealth. His childhood friend TV and media host Hamdy Kandil stood up for him saying that his work in the government sector is what got him into trouble.The problem with Osama El Shiekh was originally around buying series for the television with more money than they are worth. In Osama’s defense, Hamdy Kandil said that he only did this to ensure exclusivity for the national Egyptian television, but he never put anything in his pocket. These declarations came in Hamdy Kandil’s program called “Pencil” on “Al Tahrir” channel. Kandil also accused the previous minister of Media “Anas El Fekki” of not only abuse of public wealth, in which he was sentenced a 7 year imprisonment for it this morning , but he should also be accused of brainwashing people’s minds and transmitting false information and misleading the public using the national media.
