The release of the trailer for the movie “Assma” in preparation to release it in Egypt

After playing the movie at the London Cinema Festival, and the possibility of playing it again in more International Festivals, New Century and Film Clinic the sole producers of the movie “Assma” launched an advertising campaign through releasing its trailer on You Tube and some channels. The movie portrays “Assma” who is the sole supporter of her family after her husband’s death, only to discover that she is HIV positive. From there on she is being treated as an outcast within the society. The movie displays her struggle within the community.There is still uncertainty of the actual date when the movie will be released in Egypt. Producers wish for the movie to enter as many festivals as possible which automatically mean it should not be released commercially just yet. The movie “Assma” is starring Hend Sabry, Hani Adel, Maged El Kadawani and Ahmed Kamal and it is written and directed by Amr Salama.
