“The Colombian Circus” wins the prize for the Alexandria International Film Festival and “Palm of the Moon” wins the Ministry of Media Prize.

Yesterday during the Alexandria International Film Festival prizes were announced of which came the movie “Palm of the moon” for director Khaled Youssef , the prize is 100 thousand Egyptian pounds. Second place, came the movie “Hawi” for director Ibrahim El Batoot.Award for the best movie went to “The Colombian Circus” and the judging committee’s special award went to the Italian movie “Our Lives”. Best director’s award went to Turkish director Selim Demirolin for his movie “Our biggest Misery”Best script went to the Italians Daniel Luccini and Sandro Petrage and Stefano Riley for their movie “Our Lives” The same prize went to the Moroccan Mohamed Moftaker for his movie “The Silent Sonata”. As for the contest regarding the movies of the 25th of January. “Cool January” won best film, and “The Revolution of the Youth” won the prize of the judging committee and Niveen Shalaby received a certificate of appreciation for her movie “The Agenda and I”.
