“The Palm of the Moon” is a change of my skin says Jumana Mourad

Jumana Mourad expressed her extreme happiness to be part of that big production. Explaining how this movie is considered a change and big shift in her acting career. She passed her gratitude to director Khaled Youssef who allowed her to be a part of "The Palm of the Moon". She was thrilled with the reaction of the audience when the movie played in the Alexandrian International Cinema Festival.According to her interview on the program “Natural Colors” on Dream channel, Jumana says that in this movie she is portraying the role of a poor female who is forced to live in sin to survive. This was considered a totally new role for her to carry out especially that she had to perfect the “living in sin” part, and at the same time win the compassion of the audience. Jumana denied any rumors saying that the movie might contain explicit scenes, explaining that the director knows her too well and can correctly direct her energy in the right path without the need to use explicit scenery. The movie is written by Naser Abdel Rahman and directed by Khaled Youssef. It is starring Jumana Mourad, Wafaa Amer, Khaled Saleh, Ghada Abdel Razak, Magdi Fekry, Hassan El Raddad, Sabry Fawaz, Haitham Ahmed Zaki and Horeya Farghali. It will be released on the 19th of October this year.
