Legendary Omar El Sherif is considering retirement

Although Omar El Sherif presented more than 100 movies along his acting career, between Egypt, USA , France and many other European countries. Unfortunately he admits that he is not happy with almost 90% of his work. He added that most of them were done to pay for his expenses and not truly for the passion of acting. He can confidently say that only 5 movies of his total productions are appealing to him. Sadly his career in acting is about to end.In an interview with Al Tahrir newspaper Omar revealed that he will not be acting especially after he turned 80. At the most he will do one or 2 movies. He doesn’t even require complete stardom; he will settle with the role of a father or grandfather and then retire after that. El Sherif truly believes that he is now too old to act.Omar El Sherif has finally decided to settle in Cairo after moving around continuously and living out of his suit case and jumping around from one hotel room to another. According to him, this was his usual life style. His son Tarek is currently furnishing his apartment in the Maadi area and preparing it to accommodate legend Omar El Sherif.Omar El Sherif’s recent appearance was through his movie “The Traveler” which he was unhappy with and he is currently considering costarring in the series “Premeditated” opposite Ghada Abdel Razek
