Tayseer Fahmi experiences parliamentary elections through her political party

Actress Tayseer Fahmi had stated earlier that she has stopped all her work in the television and cinema to focus completely on her new political party called “Equality and Development” promoting and advertising for it in hope to get as many seats as possible in the upcoming parliamentary elections. In a statement to the Middle East Broadcasting agency Tayseer had explained that her party has major goals and aims that it will strive for, at the top of this list is raising the average Egyptian citizen’s income in a way that commensurate with the State’s potential. Following that aim, comes the development of the society in forms of freedom and justice through practical solutions. Tayseer added that there are many challenges, difficulties and obstacles that were facing the revolution from day one, because there are forces inside and outside Egypt that have conflicting interest regarding the revolution. She is calling all the Egyptians to become one unit, starting with eliminating any residue of the previous regime that could possibly re enter the parliamentary elections. The parliamentary elections are scheduled to start In November 2011. It is not yet known whether Tayseer will take on that experience herself or allow a representative from her party to do so.
