Wafaa Amer continues filming the series “Kareoka” in preparation for Ramadan

Director Omar Al Shiekh along with his cast that includes both Wafaa Amer and Ezzat Abu Auf continue filming their series “Kareoka” in hopes to complete it long enough before Ramadan starts.The production portrays the biography of the infamous legendary actress Taheya Kareoka, starting from her childhood all the way till her adulthood and her final days. The series portrays Kareoka as one of the most influential actresses in the Egyptian cinema reflecting the political and social situation that Egypt has been through along the fifty years.The series will be shot in several different districts and cities, such as Alexandria, Ismailia, Cairo. As well as some other international cities such as Istanbul and Beirut. Kareoka is written by Fathi El Gendi and directed by Omar El Shiekh. It is starring Wafaa Amer, Ezzat Abu Auf , Fadya Abdel Ghani, Mohamed Ramadan, Tamer Abdel Moneim and Hossam El Guindi
