Jumana Mourad explains reasons for declining the movie “One and Half Hours”

In an interview with “Al Shorook” newspaper, Syrian actress Jumana Mourad explains her reasons for declining the role that was written especially for her in the movie “One and Half Hours”. Jumana explains that due to many disagreements with the director of the movie Wael Ihsaan, she eventually had to decline her role in the movie, after apologizing to script writer Ahmed Abdulla and producer Ahmed El Sobky.Jumana had heard that Egyptian actress Somaya El Khashaab, who had replaced Jumana in the movie had done really well in that same role.On another note, actress Jumana Mourad is waiting for the release of her new movie “The Palm of the Moon” which she starred in, opposite Khaled Saleh, Wafaa Amer, Ghada Abdel Razek, written by Naser Abdel Rahman and directed by Khaled Youssef. Jumana had attended the initial display of the movie in the opening ceremony of the Alexandria International Cinema Festival for the Mediterranean countries.
